12th Grade:  Notes for 5 Articles Due Tomorrow

Go to A206 to continue working on your research paper note taking/annotating. You should have one of these (annotating exercise) for all five articles. You may do this in your notebook.

9th Grade: Plot vs. Theme

Check Giving Tree Theme Assignment from yesterday.

We will watch the Dr. Seuss story, “Sneetches.”

Your assignment:

  • Write out the elements of the plot (bullets are fine)
  • Explain a theme of the story; be sure to explain what elements of the plot helped you come up with this theme.
  • Identify a literary device used in the story. Explain how it helped communicate the theme.
